Comparison of the preventive effect and safety of carprost suppository combined with carbetocin on postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section
Objective:To explore the preventive effect and safety of carprost suppository combined with carbetocin in postpartum hemorrhage of cesarean section. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 75 cesarean section pregnant women admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023.Based on the different intervention methods received by the pregnant women, the study subjects were divided into an observation group(n=42)and a control group(n=33);The patients in the control group were treated with carbetocin intervention, and the observation group was combined with carprost suppository on the basis of the control group. After the intervention, the postpartum bleeding situation, bleeding time, lochia duration, and incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups of study subjects were recorded and compared. Results:The comparative results showed that the bleeding volume of the observation group patients at 2 hours postpartum and 24 hours postpartum was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);The hemostasis time and lochia duration of the observation group patients after intervention were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);At the same time, there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of study subjects after receiving corresponding interventions(P>0.05).Conclusion:Carboprost suppository assisted carbetocin intervention can effectively prevent postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section, reduce the amount of bleeding and shorten the time of bleeding, without increasing the incidence of adverse reactions, and has high application value.
