Curative effect of non-invasive positive pressure ventilation assisted with recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide in acute left heart failure
Objective:To study the clinical curative effect of non-invasive positive pressure ventilation(NIPPV)assisted with recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide(rhBNP)in acute left heart failure(ALHF).Methods:A total of 60 patients with ALHF admitted to the hospital were retrospectively enrolled as the research objects between June 2020 and June 2023.After correcting the influences of confounding factors, they were divided into combination group(NIPPV assisted with rhBNP)and NIPPV group(NIPPV)by propensity matching method,30 cases in each group. The clinical curative effect,N-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP),oxygenation index, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)before and after 7 days of medication,24 hours urine volume, weaning time and length of hospital stay in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, curative effect of combination group was significantly better than that of NIPPV group(P<0.05).Compared with NIPPV group, length of hospital stay and weaning time were shortened in combination group(P<0.05).After treatment, oxygenation index and LVEF were significantly increased in both groups(P<0.05),especially in combination group(P<0.05).After treatment,NT-proBNP and LVEDD were significantly decreased in both groups(P<0.05),especially in combination group(P<0.05).After treatment,24h urine volume was significantly increased in both groups(P<0.05),especially in combination group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Curative effect of NIPPV assisted with rhBNP is good in patients with ALHF,which can effectively improve blood oxygen content and left ventricular pumping function, and promote recovery of patients.
