Clinical characteristics and high-risk factors analysis of acute ischemic stroke combined with gastrointestinal injury
Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics and high-risk factors of acute ischemic stroke combined with gastrointestinal injury(GI).Methods:500 patients with acute ischemic stroke admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected for the study.Record the incidence of merging GI.Compare the clinical data, laboratory testing indicators, and other differences between the combined GI group and the non GI group, and use logistic regression to analyze the high-risk factors for acute ischemic stroke combined with GI.Results:Among 500 cases of acute ischemic stroke,36 patients had GI,and the incidence of concurrent GI was 7.20%.There were significant differences between the group with GI and the group without GI in age, drinking history, smoking history, hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes, use of antibiotics, use of sedatives and NIHSS scores on admission(P<0.05),and there were no significant differences in other clinical data(P>0.05);There was a significant difference in white blood cell count and C-reactive protein between the combined GI group and the non GI group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in other laboratory test indicators(P>0.05);Diabetes,use of antibiotics, use of sedatives,NIHSS score on admission and C-reactive protein were the high risk factors for acute ischemic stroke with GI(all P<0.05).Conclusion:The incidence of acute ischemic stroke with GI is high, and diabetes, use of antibiotics, use of sedatives,NIHSS score on admission and C-reactive protein are high risk factors for acute ischemic stroke with GI.
