Comparative analysis of the effect of femoral artery puncture preset suture and femoral artery incision in TEVAR patients with Type B aortic dissection
Objective:To compare the effect of femoral artery puncture prestitch and femoral artery incision in Thoracic Endovascular Repair(TEVAR)for patients with type B aortic dissection. Methods:The clinical data of 137 patients with type B aortic dissection who underwent TEVAR surgery in the vascular department of our hospital from April 2020 to April 2023 were retrospectively collected.According to different surgical methods, the patients were divided into incision group(femoral arteriotomy,68 cases)and suture group(femoral artery puncture presuture,69 cases). The surgical indexes, rehabilitation, quality of life and complications(during postoperative hospitalization)of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results:The operation time, postoperative activity time and hospital stay in suture group were significantly shorter than those in incision group, and the intraoperative blood loss was significantly less than that in incision group(P<0.05).The quality of life scores of suture group at 6 months and 1 year after surgery were significantly higher than those of incision group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with femoral artery incision, the application of femoral artery puncture preset suture in EVAR can shorten the operation time, postoperative ambulation time and hospital stay of B-type aortic dissection patients, reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss, improve the quality of life, and have higher safety.
