Expression and clinical significance of CK19,Ki67 and galectin-3 in papillary thyroid carcinoma
Objective:To explore the expression of cytokeratin 19(CK19),Ki67 and galectin-3 in papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC)and their relationship with pathological features. Methods:The clinical data of 68 PTC patients admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were collected. The positive expression rates of CK19,Ki67 and galectin-3 in cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry. The relationship between the three indexes and the patients'pathological features was analyzed. Results:The positive expression rates of CK19,Ki67 and galectin-3 in PTC tissues were significantly higher than those in adjacent tissues(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the positive expression rates of CK19 and Ki67 in cancer tissues of PTC patients with different tumor diameters, number of lesions, differentiation types, and clinical stages(P<0.05).Conclusion:The positive expression rates of CK19,Ki67 and galectin-3 in cancer tissues of PTC patients are high, and the positive expressions of CK19 and Ki67 are correlated with tumor size, quantity, differentiation degree, and pathological staging.
