Therapeutic effect of bulleyaconitine tablets combined with pregabalin capsule on postherpetic neuralgia
Objective:To investigate the curative effect of bulleyaconitine tablets combined with pregabalin capsules in treating postherpetic neuralgia. Methods:A total of 115 patients with postherpetic neuralgia who were admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to October 2023 were randomly divided into a control group(n=57)and an observation group(n=58).The control group was treated with oral pregabalin capsules, starting at a dose of 75 mg·time-1,2 times·day-1.Within 1 week of treatment, the dose was increased to 150 mg·time-1,2 times·day-1 based on efficacy and tolerability. The observation group was treated based on the control group combined with bulleyaconitine tablets, and both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The interval between the two administrations was≥6 hours. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The efficacy of the two groups was observed, and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)was used to assess sleep quality before and on the second day after treatment. The C-reactive protein(CRP)level was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment was statistically compared.Follow-up visits were conducted via WeChat or telephone for three months, and the recurrence rate during follow-up was statistically analyzed. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the PSQI scores of both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the PSQI score of the observation group after treatment was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After the end of treatment, the CRP levels of both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the CRP level of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).During the treatment period, there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).During the 3-month follow-up period, the recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of bulleyaconitine tablets and pregabalin capsules has a better pain relief effect in treating postherpetic neuralgia. It can improve sleep quality, alleviate inflammation, and has a low recurrence rate and high safety.
