Application value of two dimensional ultrasonography combined with color Doppler ultrasonography in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast nodules
Objective:To study the value of two-dimensional ultrasound(2D-US)combined with color doppler flow imaging(CDFI)in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast nodules.Methods:78 patients with breast nodules treated in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects. All patients underwent 2D-US and CDFI examinations. The results of pathological examination were used as the gold standard for the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast nodules. The results of 2D-US,CDFI and 2D-US combined CDFI in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast nodules were compared, and the ultrasonographic characteristics and blood flow signal classification of benign and malignant breast nodules were compared. Results:In 78 cases of breast nodules,28 cases of malignant nodules and 50 cases of benign nodules were confirmed by pathology. The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of 2D-US combined CDFI were significantly higher than those of CDFI and 2D-US alone. The aspect ratio of malignant breast nodules was higher than that of benign breast nodules(P<0.05),the shape was irregular, the edges and envelope were not uniform, the internal echo was not uniform, the internal microcalcification was observed, and the attenuation rate of the rear echo was significantly higher than that of benign breast nodules.Conclusion:2D-US combined with CDFI examination has high sensitivity, specificity and accuracy in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast nodules, which can reduce the rate of misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.
