Analysis of the detection value of microsatellite stability and PD-1/PD-L1 expression in patients with endometrial cancer
Objective:To explore the detection value of microsatellite stability and programmed death 1/programmed death ligand 1(PD-1/PD-L1)expression in patients with endometrial cancer.Method:66 suspected endometrial cancer patients admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were included in the study. All patients underwent curettage pathology diagnosis, microsatellite stability testing, and PD-1/PD-L1 testing.Kappa test was used to analyze the consistency between microsatellite stability testing,PD-1/PD-L1 testing, and combined testing with curettage pathology diagnosis results, and diagnostic efficacy was analyzed.Result:The pathological diagnosis by curettage and curettage showed that 51 suspected endometrial cancer patients were diagnosed, and 15 cases were benign lesions. The Kappa value between the stability test results of microsatellites and the pathological results is 0.557,indicating moderate consistency; The Kappa value between the PD-1/PD-L1 detection results and the pathological results is 0.575,indicating moderate consistency; The Kappa value between the joint detection results and the pathological results is 0.670,indicating high consistency. The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of microsatellite stability detection are 86.27%,73.33%,and 83.33%,respectively;The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of PD-1/PD-L1 detection were 84.31%,80.00%,and 83.33%,respectively;The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of the combined detection were 90.20%,80.00%,and 87.88%,respectively.Conclusion:The application of microsatellite stability testing and PD-1/PD-L1 detection in the clinical diagnosis of endometrial cancer is effective. The combination of the two can effectively improve the clinical diagnosis rate and has high diagnostic value.
