Clinical efficacy of amlodipine besylate combined with statin in the treatment of hypertensive patients with hyperlipidemia
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of amlodipine besylate combined with statin in the treatment of hypertension with hyperlipidemia.Methods:66 patients with hypertension and hyperlipidemia who received treatment in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were randomly assigned to a control group of 33 cases and an experimental group of 33 cases. The control group was received oral treatment with amlodipine besylate, while the experimental group was received additional oral treatment with atorvastatin on the basis of the control group. The blood pressure and lipid indicators and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups after treatment. Results:After treatment, the diastolic and systolic blood pressures of the two groups were significantly reduced, and the systolic and diastolic blood pressures of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);The serum total cholesterol(TC),serum triglycerides(TG),and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)of the two groups were significantly reduced, and the levels of these indexes in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);The levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)in both groups were significantly increased compared to before treatment, and the level of HDL-C in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);After treatment,no significant adverse reactions were observed in both groups. There was no significant difference of the incidence of adverse reaction between the two groups. Conclusion:The combination of amlodipine besylate tablets and statins can effectively reduce blood pressure and blood lipids in patients with hypertension and hyperlipidemia, with better effect and good safety.
