Effect of Shengxuebao combined with ferrous succinate in the treatment of postpartum iron deficiency anemia on peripheral blood RBC,Mcv,and Sf levels
Objective:To explore the effects of Shengxuebao combined with ferrous succinate in the treatment of postpartum iron deficiency anemia on peripheral blood red blood cell count(RBC),mean red blood cell volume(Mcv),and serum ferritin(Sf)levels. Methods:Sixty postpartum pregnant women admitted to our hospital from March 2020 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received treatment with ferrous succinate, while the observation group received treatment with ferrous succinate combined with Shengxuebao.Compare the changes in blood indicators[RBC,Mcv,mean corpuscular hemoglobin content(MCH)],iron metabolism indicators[Sf,transferrin receptor(STFR),transferrin saturation(TSAT)]between the two groups before and one month after treatment, and compare the incidence of adverse reactions during the treatment period between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the levels of RBC,MCV,and MCH in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);After treatment, the Sf and TSAT levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while the STFR levels were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Shengxuebao and ferrous succinate can improve hematological indicators, enhance the development of red blood cells, and improve iron metabolism levels in postpartum iron deficiency anemia patients.
