Online and offline mixed teaching mode based on BOPPPS concept from the perspective of strengthen moral education and cultivate people applications in physiology courses
Objective:To explore the application effect of a blended teaching mode based on the BOPPPS concept in a physiology course under the perspective of fostering virtue and cultivating talents.Methods:Incorporating ideological and political education cases that foster virtue and cultivate talents,the teaching content was reconstructed according to the principle of"consolidating basic knowledge,emphasizing knowledge application,and comprehensively improving quality,"forming 7 modules.A total of 60 students from the 2023 clinical medicine major of Heze Medical College were selected for blended teaching as the experimental group,while another 60 students from the same major were taught using traditional classroom teaching as the control group.After the physiology course,the teaching effectiveness and comprehensive scores of the two groups of students were statistically analyzed.Results:The satisfaction of the experimental group with the blended teaching mode was higher,and their comprehensive scores and autonomous learning abilities were also significantly better than those of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The BOPPPS teaching method contributes to the promotion of blended teaching reform in physiology courses and is worthy of promotion.
