Clinical effect of Jianpi Zhixie decoction assisting live Bacillus licheniformis granules and cimetidine in children with rotavirus enteritis
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Jianpi Zhixie decoction assisting live Bacillus licheniformis granules and cimetidine in the treatment of rotavirus enteritis(RVE)children.Methods:A total of 108 children with RVE admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were divided into conventional western medicine group and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)auxiliary group by random number table method,54 cases in each group.The conventional western medicine group was treated with live Bacillus licheniformis granules and cimetidine,and the TCM auxiliary group was treated with Jianpi Zhixie decoction based on the conventional western medicine group.After 7 days of treatment,the efficacy,symptom improvement,adverse reactions,and inflammatory factors interleuin(IL-6),highly sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),Tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),advanced glycation end products(AGEs),intestinal flora(Bifidobacterium,Escherichia coli,Lactobacillus),intestinal mucosal barrier(D-lactic acid,diamine oxidase,endotoxin)were compared between the two groups.Results:After 7 days of treatment,compared with conventional western medicine group,the total effective rate of TCM auxiliary group was higher 92.59%(P<0.05);the correction time of diarrhea,fever and dehydration were shorter(P<0.05);the quantity of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus were higher,and the quantity of Escherichia coli was lower(P<0.05);the serum levels of hs-CRP,IL-6,TNF-α,AGEs,D-lactic acid,diamine oxidase and endotoxin were lower(P<0.05).During treatment,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Jianpi Zhixie decoction assisting live Bacillus heniformis granules and cimetidine have good clinical efficacy in the treatment of RVE,which can effectively alleviate the disease,protect the intestinal mucosal barrier of children,reduce inflammation and damage,regulate intestinal flora,and have high drug safety.
