Value of CT low tube voltage combined with high current technique in preoperative diagnosis of renal carcinoma
Objective:To evaluate the value of Computed tomography(CT)with low tube voltage combined with executive current in preoperative diagnosis of renal carcinoma. Methods:A total of 103 patients with renal cancer admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects. All the included patients received whole-abdominal multi-phase enhanced CT examination, and were divided into control group(n=51)and observation group(n=52)according to different scanning parameters. The tube voltage of multi-phase enhanced CT scan in the control group was 120 kV.The tube current was selected to be 300 mA.In the observation group, the tube voltage and tube current of multi-phase enhanced CT scan were 90 kV and 550 mA.Clinical baseline data, image quality, image clarity and radiation dose were compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference in baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05).Nephrographic phase(NP)and Corticomedullary phase(CMP)Region of interest in 2 groups There were no significant differences in ROI,Signal to noise ratio(SNR),Contrast-to-noise ratio(CNR)and renal parenchymal ROI(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in NP and CMP image clarity between the two groups(P>0.05).The Effective dose(ED)and Dose length products(DLP)of NP and CMP stage in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The scan images obtained by the low tube voltage current scanning scheme for renal cancer patients have higher resolution, better image quality, and can effectively reduce the radiation dose.
