Analysis of influencing factors of glandular rehyperplasia after TURP operation
Objective:To analyze the factors influencing glandular rehyperplasia after transurethral resection of prostate(TURP).Methods:From January 2022 to April 2024,29 patients with glandular re-proliferation after TURP for BPH(recurrence group)and 36 patients without glandular re-proliferation after TURP for BPH(non-recurrence group)were included in the hospital for retrospective analysis. The general data of the two groups of patients were collected for univariate comparison, and univariate factors with significant differences were analyzed by logistic regression analysis to analyze the independent risk factors affecting the recurrence of re-proliferation after TURP in patients with BPH.Results:There were no significant differences between groups in terms of age at the time of surgery, prostate protruding into the bladder, white blood cell, percentage of blood neutrophils, surgical time, hospitalization time, urinary retention and bladder stones(P>0.05).There were significant differences in age of onset, type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),prostate anteroposterior diameter, weight of resected prostate tissue, residual gland, residual urine volume, serum uric acid, serum creatinine and urinary protein(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis found that age of onset,T2DM,prostate anteroposterior diameter, residual gland, serum uric acid, serum creatinine and urinary protein were independent risk factors for glandular re-proliferation after TURP in patients with BPH(P<0.05).Conclusion:The age of onset,T2DM,prostate anteroposterior diameter, residual gland, serum uric acid, serum creatinine and urinary protein are the risk factors affecting the glandular re-proliferation after TURP in patients with BPH.It is necessary to attach great importance to such patients and take corresponding measures in time to reduce the risk of recurrence.
