Effects of compound methoxyamine combined with Cetirizine hydrochloride on blood gas analysis indexes and serum inflammatory factors in patients with cough variant asthma
Objective:To investigate the effects of compound methoxyamine combined with cetirizine hydrochloride on blood gas analysis indexes and serum inflammatory factors in patients with cough variant asthma(CVA).Methods:A retrospective collection of 71 patients with CVA admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to March 2024 was conducted as the research object.According to different treatment methods, patients were divided into a control group(treated with cetirizine hydrochloride,n=34)and an observation group(treated with compound methoxyphenamine hydrochloride combined with cetirizine hydrochloride,n=37).The control group was treated with cetirizine hydrochloride oral solution 10 mg·time-1,while the observation group was treated with compound methoxyphenamine hydrochloride 2 tablets·time-1 based on the control group. Both groups continued to take medication for 1 month. The clinical efficacy and symptom improvement of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Before and after treatment, the arterial oxygen saturation(SaO2),arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),and arterial blood carbon dioxide partial pressure(PaCO2)were measured using a fully automated blood gas analyzer. The levels of interleukin-4(IL-4),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),neurotrophin-3(NT-3),and interferon-γ(IFN-γ)were detected using a double antibody sandwich method. The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was analyzed and compared. Results:The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of asthma, pharyngeal itching, phlegm and cough in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,PaCO2 in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group,PaO2 and SaO2 were significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of IL-4,TNF-α and NT-3 in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group, and the levels of IFN-γ were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compound methoxyamine combined with cetirizine hydrochloride in the treatment of CVA patients can improve clinical results, alleviate clinical symptoms, improve blood gas indexes, reduce inflammatory response, and have high safety.
