Application effect of general anesthesia combined with brachial plexus block anesthesia in patients undergoing shoulder arthroscopic surgery
Objective:To explore the application effect of general anesthesia combined with brachial plexus block anesthesia in patients undergoing shoulder arthroscopic surgery. Methods:The clinical data of 80 patients who underwent shoulder arthroscopy in our hospital from May 2022 to December 2023 were collected. The patients were divided into a control group(n=39)and an observation group(n=41)based on the difference in anesthesia schemes, with general anesthesia for the control group and brachial plexus block combined with general anesthesia for the observation group. After the patient completes the surgery, observe its anesthesia effect and assess the pain level by the oral description of the Visual analogue scale(VAS).During the perioperative period, use an electrocardiogram monitor to detect hemodynamic changes and statistically analyze adverse reactions that occurred during this period. Results:The observation group exhibited a significantly shorter postoperative recovery time and extubation time compared to the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the pre-operative period, systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),heart rate, and VAS score in all treatment groups decreased(P<0.05).The decrease was more significant in the observation group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:General anesthesia combined with brachial plexus block in shoulder arthroscopy surgery improves the anesthetic and analgesic effects, improves hemodynamics, and reduces adverse reactions.
