Influence of bromhexine hydrochloride combined with piperacillin-tazobactam on peripheral blood NLR and IFN-γ levels in patients with bronchiectasis and infection
Objective:To investigate the influence of bromhexine hydrochloride combined with piperacillin-tazobactam on peripheral blood neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and interferon-γ(IFN-γ)levels in patients with bronchiectasis complicated with infection. Methods:Patients with bronchiectasis and infection in the hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were included and divided into single group(40 cases, conventional treatment and intravenous infusion of bromhexine hydrochloride)and combined group(40 cases, intravenous infusion of piperacillin-tazobactam on the basis of single group). Before and after treatment, the levels of neutrophil count(NEUT),lymphocyte count(LYM),NLR and the levels of IFN-γ was compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of treatment in combined group was higher than that in the single group(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment, the levels of NEUT,LYM,NLR and IFN-γ in both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the changes in combined group were more significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions of two groups hadn't significant differences(P>0.05).Conclusion:Bromhexine hydrochloride combined with piperacillin-tazobactam has significant efficacy in the treatment of bronchiectasis with infection, and can effectively improve the levels of NLR and IFN-γ,with high safety.
