Analysis of infection control rate and bone regeneration ability of chronic osteomyelitis treated by bone transport technique
Objective:To investigate the effect of bone transport technique on patients with chronic osteomyelitis. Methods:The clinical data of 102 patients with chronic osteomyelitis(CO)admitted to our hospital from March 2019 to March 2024 were retrospectively collected. The patients were divided into control group(conventional treatment,50 cases)and observation group(bone transport technology treatment,52 cases)according to different treatment plans.Bone regeneration ability(Puno limb function score),treatment effect, recovery time(bone healing time and full weight-bearing time)and infection control rate of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results:The Puno limb function score and total score of both groups were increased after treatment, and the Puno limb function score and total score of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P>0.05).After treatment, the effective rate of rehabilitation in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the bone healing time and full weight-bearing time in observation group were significantly shorter than those in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Bone transport technique can improve the therapeutic effect, improve the function of the affected limb, promote the rehabilitation of patients and reduce the infection rate in chronic osteomyelitis patients.
