Effect of compound Lactobacillus acidophilus combined with zinc gluconate on rotavirus enteritis in children
Objective:To investigate the effect of compound Lactobacillus acidophilus combined with zinc gluconate in the adjuvant treatment of rotavirus enteritis in children. Methods:The clinical data of 50 children with rotavirus enteritis treated with compound acidophilic milk rod from January 2021 to October 2023 were retrospectively collected and included in the control group. The clinical data of 50 children with the same disease who were treated with zinc gluconate on the basis of compound Lactobacillus acidophilus were collected and included into the observation group. The improvement time of clinical symptoms, levels of inflammatory factors, indexes of myocardial injury, indexes of immune function and adverse reactions of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results:The antipyretic time, antiemetic time and antidiarrheal time of observation group were significantly shorter than those of control group(P<0.05).After 7 days of treatment, the serum levels of IL-6,CRP and TNF-α were significantly decreased in both groups, and the reduction range of observation group was significantly greater than that of control group(P<0.05).After 7 days of treatment,CK-MB and LDH in both groups were significantly decreased, and the reduction range in observation group was significantly greater than that in control group(P<0.05).After 7 days of treatment,CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in both groups were significantly increased, and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions occurred during treatment in both groups. Conclusion:The combination of compound Lactobacillus acidophilus and zinc gluconate can shorten the duration of symptoms in children with rotavirus enteritis, reduce inflammation and myocardial damage, and improve the immune function of children with good safety.
