Analysis of the therapeutic effect of Xiaosui Huahe Tang combined with Ren Du method massage therapy on patients with lumbar disc herniation
Objective:To observe the effect of Xiaosui Huahe Tang combined with Ren Du method massage in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Method:A total of 96 LDH patients treated in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects.The patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 48 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Xiaosui Huahe Tang.The observation group received Ren Du method massage therapy on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,lumbar function,lumbar mobility,hemorheological indexes(whole blood high shear viscosity,low shear viscosity,plasma viscosity)and adverse reactions of the two groups were analyzed and compared.Results:The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the Oswestry dysfunction index(ODI)scores of both groups significantly decreased,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)scores significantly increased,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The flexion,extension,and lateral flexion of the lumbar spine in both groups were significantly improved compared to before treatment,and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).The plasma viscosity,whole blood high shear viscosity,and whole blood low shear viscosity of both groups were significantly reduced compared to before treatment,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Xiaosui Huahe Tang and Ren Du method massage therapy can improve clinical efficacy,promote the recovery of lumbar spine function,increase lumbar spine mobility,improve hemorheology,and has high safety in the treatment of LDH patients.
