Effect of shared decision making combined with six-step communication on postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery in patients undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery
Objective:To observe the effect of shared decision making combined with six-step communication on postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery in patients undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery.Methods:Eighty-two patients who underwent gynecological laparoscopic surgery in the hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected, and divided into control group(41 cases,six-step communication intervention)and observation group(41 cases,six-step communication combined with shared decision making intervention)using a table of random numbers.Postoperative recovery, quality of life, incidence of adverse reactions, and nursing satisfaction were observed. Results:Compared with the control group, the observation group showed reductions in recovery time of bowel sounds, time of spontaneous exhaust, time of first bowel movement, and first ambulation time(P<0.05).After intervention, the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36)scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower and nursing satisfaction rate in the observation group was higher compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Shared decision making combined with six-step communication plays an important role in promoting postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery in patients undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery. Moreover,it can improve the quality of life, reduce the risk of adverse reactions, and increase nursing satisfaction.
