Diagnostic value of MSCT plain scan combined with three-phase enhanced scan for lung cancer
Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of multislieces helieal Computed Tomography(MSCT)combined with three-phase enhanced scan in lung cancer.Methods:100 patients with suspected lung cancer who were treated in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects. All patients underwent MSCT plain scan and three-phase enhanced scan. The results of lung biopsy were used as the gold standard to compare the diagnostic results of MSCT plain scan and three-phase enhanced scan alone and in combination for lung cancer. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value were calculated to evaluate the diagnostic value of single and combined examination for lung cancer. Results:Out of 100 suspected patients with lung cancer,72 cases were confirmed by lung biopsy, accounting for 72%(72/100).Taking lung biopsy as the gold standard, the detection rate of MSCT plain scan for lung cancer was 65.28%(47/72),the detection rate of three-stage enhanced scan was 81.94%(59/72),and the detection rate of combined examination for lung cancer was 94.44%(68/72).The detection rate of combined diagnosis was higher than that of individual examination. And the consistency with the gold standard is also higher than each individual inspection,0.774.The sensitivity, accuracy and negative predictive value of MSCT plain scan and three-stage enhanced scan were significantly higher than those of MSCT plain scan and three-stage enhanced scan alone(P<0.05).Conclusion:MSCT plain scan combined with three phase enhanced scan can effectively diagnose lung cancer, and has a strong agreement with the gold standard.
