Value of NLR and PLR combined with D-D in the differential diagnosis of upper gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding and non-bleeding acute abdomen
Objective:To explore the value of neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and platelet/lymphocyte ratio(PLR)combined with D-dimer(D-D)in the differential diagnosis of upper gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding and non-bleeding acute abdomen. Methods:A total of 26 patients with upper gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding and 34 patients with non-bleeding acute abdomen in the hospital were enrolled as bleeding group and non-bleeding group between January 2021 and January 2024.The levels of NLR,PLR and D-D in the two groups were detected. The value of NLR,PLR,D-D and combined detection in the differential diagnosis of upper gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding and non-bleeding acute abdomen was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves. Results:NLR and PLR in bleeding group were higher than those in non-bleeding group, while D-D was lower than that in non-bleeding group(P<0.05).AUC values of NLR,PLR,D-D and combined detection in the differential diagnosis of upper gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding and non-bleeding acute abdomen were 0.746,0.718,0.782 and 0.856,respectively(P<0.05).AUC of combined detection was the greatest. Conclusion:The combined detection of NLR,PLR and D-D can improve the value in the differential diagnosis of upper gastrointestinal ulcer bleeding and non-bleeding acute abdomen.
