Research Progress and Trend of Digital Scholarship in China Based on Bibliometrics
With the rapid development of information technology,digital scholarship has emerged as a significant trend in academic research.Confronted with a vast amount of digital scholarship research literature,how to efficient-ly identify research hotspots and track academic frontiers has become a major challenge for researchers.This paper adopts the method of bibliometric analysis,and takes 1416 articles published in CSSCI source journals from 1999 to 2024 as the analysis object.With the help of CiteSpace,it makes bibliometric analysis of publication situation,re-search strength,research content,research hotspots,research frontiers and other aspects.The study found that China's digital scholarship research has experienced the evolution process from theoretical development to model innova-tion,and then to practical application.The research content includes two dimensions:the basic theory and applica-tion practice,and mainly includes five research topics:the theoretical framework construction of digital scholarship,the key supporting role of digital technology,the innovation of digital scholarship services,the interdisciplinary ap-plication of digital scholarship and the cultivation of digital scholarship literacy.The related research is divided into three stages:the initial stage,the active stage and the accelerated development stage.In the future,digital scholar-ship research will show the trend of interdisciplinary integration,technology-driven paradigm change,digital scholar-ship literacy training and data security ethics construction.
