Application of RNA-seq in Shrimp and Crab Research:a Review
RNA-seq technology based on high-throughput sequencing technology has been widely used in the research of highly economical value shrimps and crabs with.The regulatory functions of related genes in the life cycle are described at the molecular level to further consolidate the genetic information of shrimps and crabs at the molecular level.The current transcriptomes research of shrimp and crabs are discussed including growth and development,reproductive breeding,environmental stress,immune response,nutrient metabolism,and molecular marker development.On this basis,the limitations and challenges of RNA-seq technology in shrimps and crabs research are analyzed to provide reference with further molecular biology research on shrimps and crabs.
