Technical optimization and transformation practice for improving the production capacity of powder making systems
Before September 16,2022,Chongqing Iron and Steel Plant only had three sets of coal powder preparation systems,with a total powder production capacity of 180 t/h.At the end of 2020,Chongqing Iron and Steel resumed full load production of four blast furnaces after completing all major repairs,with a total coal powder demand of 210 t/h.At that time,the coal powder production capacity could no longer match the coal powder demand of the blast furnace.During the same period,due to the scarcity and high cost of coke resources,improving the powder produc-tion capacity to meet the demand for blast furnace coal powder had become an important way to increase the coal in-jection ratio,alleviate the shortage of coke resources,and reduce ironmaking costs.This article mainly takes the current situation of the coal powder preparation system at Chongqing Iron and Steel Iron and Steel Plant as an exam-ple,and introduces how to improve the coal powder production capacity of the coal powder preparation system through technical optimization and equipment transformation to meet the coal powder demand of the blast furnace.The article elaborates on multiple measures from various aspects such as improving the quality of raw materials,improving equipment working conditions,and optimizing production operations,providing guidance for peers on how to solve the insufficient powder production capacity,increase the powder production volume of the powder pro-duction system,and ensure the stable supply of blast furnace coal powder.
