Analysis of cooling curve of Cu50Zr50 with different superheat
Cu50Zr50 is easy to be oxidized in the atmosphere,and it is difficult to analyze and detect the cooling curve.In this paper,the cooling curve of Cu50Zr50 at different heating temperatures was measured by covering slag tech-nique,and the solidification and growth process of Cu50Zr50 was studied by thermal analysis technique to reveal the relationship between the structure of melt with different superheat and the solidification law.The results show that the solidification curves of Cu50Zr50 alloy are obviously different at different temperatures,and the initial nucleation temperature and supercooling degree change with temperature.The undercooling of Cu50Zr50 liquid alloy after liquid-liquid structure transformation decreases during solidification,but the driving force of nucleation increases,and the solidification structure is refined.
