Research on the anchorage performance testing of 650 MPa grade high-strength seismic-resistant reinforcement
The 650 Mpa-grade high-strength seismic-resistant rebar represents an innovative class of ultra-high-strength steel for concrete reinforcement.Compared to the prevalent HRB400 and HRB500 rebars,it boasts superior structural safety margins, enhanced green credentials, reduced weight, and a lower overall cost. However, the current Code for Design of Concrete Structures in our country does not yet stipulate the application of rebars with a strength exceeding 500 Mpa within concrete structures. This paper aims to promote the application of 650 Mpa-grade high-strength seismic-resistant rebar in concrete structural engineering.Through anchorage performance testing of the 650 Mpa-grade rebar, the study investigates the anchorage behavior of the high-strength rebar under various parameters, including different anchorage lengths, types(straight and hooked),concrete strength grades, cover thicknesses, and rebar diameters.Furthermore, the paper discusses the applicability of the current national Code for Design of Concrete Structures GB50010 regarding the design requirements for rebar anchorage to the 650 Mpa-grade high-strength rebar, providing a reference for accelerating its engineering application and promotion.
