An analysis of the status quo and promotion strategies of the influence of science and technology periodicals——taking Sichuan Metallurgy as an example
This paper discusses the strategies to enhance the influence of non-core science and technology journals,especially single journals.Based on the data published on CNGI for 10 consecutive years from 2013 to 2022,this pa-per uses bibliometrics to make a quantitative and qualitative statistical analysis on the number of papers,subject dis-tribution,fund projects,core authors,regional distribution,citation number and influence of Sichuan Metallurgy from two perspectives.Questionnaire survey was used to understand the needs and suggestions of the authors.This paper reveals the development status and problems of Sichuan Metallurgy,and finds out how to enhance the influ-ence of Sichuan Metallurgy and non-core science and technology journals.The quantitative analysis method used in this paper can be an effective research method to enhance the influence of science and technology journals.
