The XX gold deposit is situated on the southern flank of the central Qinling Mountains,,and the gold ore body mainly exists in the fractured altered rocks and quartz veins in the NE-NNE trending fracture alteration zone of Yanshan Age.At present,the mine is in the exploration stage,only the basic geological work has been carried out,and the research degree is low.In this paper,after the ore body was delineated by IP midladder survey and 1:10,000 soil chemical survey,the geological characteristics of the gold deposit were ascertained,the metallogenic geological conditions and deposit formation mechanism were analyzed,the mineral enrichment rules and prospecting indicators were summarized through the work of drilling verification,channel exploration,geological survey and sampling analysis,so as to provide a real and reliable theoretical basis for the later peripheral prospecting and deep prospecting.
