Based on the results of a geological hazard risk survey in the Jinchengjiang District of Guangxi,an analysis was conducted using the ArcGIS platform to examine the geological conditions and distribution patterns of geological hazards. The findings indicate that, concerning topography and geomorphology, geological hazards are primarily concentrated in areas with peak cluster depression landforms featuring slopes exceeding 55°,regarding geological structure, rock collapses are predominantly influenced by underlying geologic structures, pertaining to engineering geology rock groups, most occurrences are found within medium-thick layer-massive medium-strongly dissolved hard carbonate rock group(I),meteorological and hydrological conditions play crucial roles in slope stability and changes in rock mechanical properties leading to the formation of geological hazards;human engineering activities mainly contribute to landslides and soil collapse formations, serving as one of the primary factors contributing to these hazardous events.
