Studies on Growth Characteristics of Larimichthys Polyactis Cultured in Cages of Age in Xiangshan Bay
The growth and morphological parameters of Larimichthys polyactis(8 and 11～15 months old)cul-tured in cages in Xiangshan Bay were observed and analyzed in December of 2022 and March to July of 2023.The results showed that the best fitting curves of body weight and body length of male and female individuals were power functions,and there was no significant difference in growth between male and female fish(P>0.05).The best fitting curves of body length and body height,body width,head length,snout length,caudal peduncle length,caudal peduncle heightwere linear equations.The best fitting curve of body weight and body length was a power function,and the power function index is greater than 3,which indicated that the cage culture of Larimichthys poly-actis was allometric.The basic growth index and relative growth rate showed an increasing trend with the increase of age,the condition factor and hepatosomatic index ratio first decreased and then increased with the increase of water temperature,and the gonadal index first increased and then decreased with the increase of water temperature.
