Clinical effect of Xianhe Danpi formula combined with acupuncture therapy on bone marrow suppression caused by chemotherapy in colon cancer
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of xianhe Danpi formula combined with acupuncture therapy on bone marrow suppression caused by chemotherapy in colon cancer.Methods A total of 105patients with chemotherapy-induced myelo-suppression of colon cancer(from February 2019to February 2022)admitted to the First People's Hospital of Wanzhou District of Chongqing were divided into two groups according to the random number table method.The control group(53cases)received con-ventional Western medicine treatment(interleukin-11,agranulocyte stimulating diet,erythropoietin,blood transfusion,etc.).Observation group(52cases)received routine treatment and Xianhe Danpi prescription combined with acupuncture therapy.Data observation:Clinical efficacy,changes in TCM syndrome scores(fatigue,shortness of breath,dizziness,pale/yellow face,etc.)before and after treatment,changes in the levels of hemoglobin,white blood cells and platelets of patients before and after treat-ment,adverse reactions of chemotherapy(incidence of erythrocytopenia,thrombocytopenia,leukopenia,etc.),KPS scores of patients in each group after treatment Improvement rate,passing rate of chemotherapy and 1-year survival rate,changes of im-mune indexes before and after treatment.Results The therapeutic effect of observation group(90.38％)was higher than that of control group(73.58％),P＜0.05;TCM syndrome scores(fatigue,shortness of breath,dizziness,pale/yellow face,etc.)were significantly decreased in all groups after treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group,P＜0.05;After treatment,the levels of hemoglobin,platelet and white blood cell in observation group were lower than those in control group,P＜0.05;After treatment,the incidence of cytopenia,leukopenia and thrombocytopenia in observation group was lower than that in control group,and the improvement rate of KPS score(96.15％)was higher than that in control group(81.13％),P＜0.05.The chemotherapy passing rate and 1-year survival rate of observation group were higher than those of control group,P＜0.05;The immune indexes of the control group were not significantly changed after treatment,while the immune indexes of the observation group were significantly improved after treatment,and were superior to the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Xianhe Danpi prescription combined with acupuncture therapy in the treatment of bone marrow suppression caused by colon cancer chemotherapy has good clinical effect,the patients'condition is improved,the quality of life is improved,the passing rate of chemotherapy and 1-year survival rate are high,the immunity is improved,it is worthy of application.
