Clinical study of self-made modified Ziyin Tongluo Decoction in the treatment of children with acute Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis of dampness-heat hurting collaterals type
Objective:To explore the curative effect of self-made modified Ziyin Tongluo Decoction on children with acute Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis(HSPN)of dampness-heat hurting collaterals type.Methods:A total of 130children with a-cute HSPN of dampness-heat hurting collaterals type in the hospital were enrolled between November 2020and October 2022.Ac-cording to random number table method,they were divided into observation group and control group 65cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine western medicine,while observation group was additionally treated with self-made modified Ziyin Tongluo Decoction for 2weeks.After treatment,clinical curative effect in the two groups was evaluated.Before and after treatment,scores of TCM syndromes,renal function indexes,immune function indexes and serum cytokines were compared be-tween the two groups.The occurrence of adverse events in both groups during treatment was recorded.Results:The total response rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group(93.85％vs 80.00％,P＜0.05).After treatment,scores of TCM syndromes in both groups were significantly decreased(P＜0.05),which were significantly lower in observation group than control group(P＜0.05).At 24h after treatment,content of urinary protein and levels of serum creatinine,CD8+,im-munoglobulin A,interleukin 17and transforming growth factor-β in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P＜0.05),while glomerular filtration rate and levels of serum C3,CD3+,CD4+and interleukin 10were significantly higher than those in control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:The curative effect of self-made modified Ziyin Tongluo Decoction is good on children with acute HSPN of dampness-heat hurting collaterals type,which can improve renal function and immunity.
