Observation on the therapeutic effect of"neck-Eight-Acupunctures"combined with ultrasound-guided trigger point acupuncture on cervical spondylosis
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of the combination of the"neck-Eight-Acupunctures"combined with ultrasound-guided trigger point acupuncture in the treatment of cervical spondylosis.Method:Sixty patients with cervical spondy-losis were randomly divided into two groups:"neck-Eight-Acupunctures"combined with ultrasound-guided trigger point acu-puncture(treatment group)and the traction group(control group),with 30patients in each group, both groups were treated three times a week for a total of three weeks. The changes in Neck Disability Index, cervical curvature, and Cervical range of motion before and after treatment were observed and compared, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared.Result:During the treatment process, one case fell off each of the two groups. After treatment, the cervical dysfunction index decreased and the curvature and range of motion of the cervical spine increased in both groups of patients, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05);After treatment, the improvement of Neck Disability Index, cervical curvature in the treatment group before and after treatment was better than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05);The improvement of cer-vical spine mobility before and after treatment was compared between the two groups, except for the right flexion, the treatment group was better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the remaining differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05);The effective rate of the treatment group was 96.55%,which was higher than 79.31%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:"neck-Eight-Acupunctures"combined with ultrasound-guided trigger point acupunc-ture can significantly reduce the pain symptoms of cervical spondylosis, increase cervical mobility, restore cervical physiological curvature, and improve the quality of life of patients. It is the effective methods for treating cervical spondylosis.
