Curative effect of Xuanfei Qutan Huayu Decoction combined with doxofylline and its influences on blood gas analy-sis indexes(PaO2,PaCO2)in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Objective To explore the curative effect of Xuanfei Qutan Huayu Decoction combined with doxofylline and its in-fluences on blood gas analysis indexes[partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)]in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods A total of 120patients with COPD admitted to Geriatrics Department of the hospital were enrolled as the research objects between March 202land March 2022.According to random number table meth-od,they were divided into study group(n=60)and control group(n=60).The control group was treated with doxofylline,while study group was additionally treated with Professor Liu Fangbai concerted prescription(Xuanfei Qutan Huayu Decoction).The clinical response rate,scores of TCM symptoms,blood gas indexes(pH,PaO2,PaCO2),lung function indexes[forced expira-tory volume in 1second(FEV1),peak expiratory flow(PEF),airway resistance(Reff)]and quality of life[St.George Re-spiratory Questionnaire(SGRD)]were compared between the two groups after treatment.Results The clinical response rate of study group was higher than that of control group(96.67％vs 83.33％,P＜0.05).After treatment,scores of TCM symptoms in both groups were decreased,which were lower in study group than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,pH and PaO2 were increased in both groups,which were higher in study group than control group(P＜0.05),while PaCO2 was decreased,which was lower in study group than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,FEV,and PEF were increased in both groups,which were higher in study group than control group(P＜0.05),while Reff was decreased,which was lower in study group than control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,SGRD scores were decreased in both groups,which were lower in study group than control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Xuanfei Qutan Huayu Decoction combined with doxofylline has significant curative effect in COPD patients,which can effectively relieve clinical symptoms,enhance lung function,improve blood gas status and quality of life.
