Influence of Yishen Huayu Jiangzhuo decoction combined with peritoneal dialysis on residual renal function in pa-tients with chronic renal failure
Objective To explore the influence of Yishen Huayu Jiangzhuo decoction combined with peritoneal dialysis(PD)on residual renal function(RRF)in patients with chronic renal failure(CRF)of blood stasis and dampness turbidity syndrome.Methods 97patients with CRF of blood stasis and dampness turbidity syndrome in our hospital from May 2021to April 2023were se-lected and divided into two groups by adopting the random number table method.The control group(n=48)was treated with PD,while the observation group(n=49)was given Yishen Huayu Jiangzhuo decoction combined with PD therapy.The clinical effica-cy after 6courses of treatment was compared.The differences in TCM syndromes scores,residual renal function indicators[blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(SCr),RRF],and inflammatory indicators[interleukin-6(IL-6),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]were recorded before treatment and after 6courses of treatment.The adverse reactions of the two groups were recorded.Results The total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher(P＜0.05).The scores of TCM syndromes and levels of BUN,SCr,RRF,and inflammatory indicators(IL-6,CRP,TNF-α)were significantly decreased in both groups,and the above scores and levels were lower in observation group(P＜0.05).There were no statistical differences in the incidence rates of adverse reactions between groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Yishen Huayu Jiangzhuo decoction combined with PD can not only effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients and improve the effica-cy,but also help to restore the renal function in CRF patients.
