Clinical relationship and safety study of Qingre Runmu decoction fumigation assisted massage in the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction dry eye syndrome
Objective To analyze the clinical relationship and safety of Qingre Runmu Decoction fumigation assisted massage in the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction dry eye syndrome.Methods 80patients with meibomian gland dysfunction dry eye who were admitted to our hospital from September 2021to September 2022were selected,and according to different treatment methods,they were divided into 40cases in the control group(distilled water fumigation combined with meibomian gland massage on the basis of general treatment)and 40cases in the observation group(fumigation with Qingre Runmu Decoction combined with meibomian gland massage on the basis of general treatment).The clinical curative effect,curative effect indexes,basic tear Schirmer I test(SIT)score,corneal epithelial Fluorescent(FL)score,tear film break-up time(BUT)score,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group(93.12%)was higher than that of the control group(75.00%)(P＜0.05);after treatment,the subjective symptom scores,meibomian gland function scores,and FL scores of the two groups decreased,while SIT scores and BUT scores increased,the tear film breakup time was prolonged,and the subjective symptom score,meibomian gland function score,and FL score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after treatment,the SIT score and BUT score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the tear film breakup time of the observation group was longer than that of the control group(P＜0.05);the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group(12.20%)was higher than that in the control group(5.00%),but the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusion Qingren Runmu Decoction fumigation com-bined with meibomian gland massage in the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction dry eye has more advantages of specimen treatment,can improve the symptoms of dry eye,prolong the time of tear film rupture,so as to improve the curative effect,and provide a new idea for the clinical treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction.
