Effect of this effect on the rate of oral mucositis in patients with nasopharyngeal cancer
Objective:To investigate the effect of Qingre Liyan Decoction on the rate of oral mucositis in patients with naso-pharyngeal carcinoma treated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy.Methods:In this paper,110patients with nasopharyngeal cancer treated in the radiology department of our hospital from May 2018to June 2023were selected,and the patients were divided into control group and observation group according to random method,with 55cases each.The control group received reduced glu-tathione sodium after radiotherapy;the observation group gave Qingreili soup on the basis of the control group.CD4+/CD8+,CD19+/CD69+,bone-type alkaline phosphatase(B-ALP),vascular endothelial growth factor(VE GF),matrix metalloprotei-nase(MMP-2),quality of life table-head and neck cancer(QLICP-HN),symptom integration were tested.Statistical treat-ment efficiency and incidence of oral mucositis.Results:CD4+/CD8+and CD19+/CD69+levels were higher than those in the control group,and B-ALP levels were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).VE GF,MMP-2levels and QLIICP-HN scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The score of ulcer,sore throat,pus and dry throat thirst were lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The total response rate in the observation group was higher after treatment than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment of patients in both groups,the incidence of oral mucositis in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Qingrelipharyngeal soup has a signifi-cant effect on the treatment of nasopharyngeal cancer patients,which can reduce the incidence of oral mucositis,reduce the in-flammation of patients,improve the quality of life,and is conducive to the recovery of patients.
