To observe the clinical efficacy of Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture combined with Yin-yang Balance Penetrating Ac-upuncture and Opposing Needling in the treatment of hemiplegia after stroke
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture combined with Yin-yang balance penetrating acupuncture and Opposing Needling in the treatment of hemiplegia after stroke. Methods:Sixty patients with hemiple-gia after stroke were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, with 30cases in each group. The control group was treated with basic therapy according to ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke-related guidelines, combined with conventional acupunc-ture treatment;the treatment group received the same basic therapy as the control group, combined with Tongdu Tiaoshen Acu-puncture combined with Yin-yang balance penetrating acupuncture and Opposing Needling treatment. After two weeks of treat-ment,the observation indicators were the clinical effective rate,National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score,modi-fied Barthel Index(MBI)score,Stroke Patient Motor Function Assessment Scale(MAS)score, and Functional Independence Measure(FIM)motor function part score. Results:After treatment, the clinical efficacy of the two groups was significantly im-proved.The scores of the evaluation scales showed that the NIHSS score decreased, while the MBI score,MAS score, and FIM score increased. Both treatments had therapeutic effects, and the efficacy of both methods was better than before treatment(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the effectiveness between the two methods(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture combined with Yin-yang balance penetrating acupuncture and Opposing Needling has definite efficacy in treating hemiplegia after stroke and is worth clinical application.
