Effect of lightning fire moxibustion and acupoint application on the serum level of TGF-β1,Klotho and FGF23 of chronic kidney disease Stage 3～4
Objective To study the curative effect of lightning fire moxibustion and acupoint application in the treatment of stage 3～4chronic kidney disease(CKD)and the effect on the serum levels of transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),Klotho protein(Klotho)and fibroblast growth factor 23(FGF23).Methods From January 2022to January 2023,92patients with stage 3to 4chronic kidney disease in our hospital were divided into the control group and the experimental group,with 46cases in each group,using random number table method.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the experimen-tal group was treated with lightning fire moxibustion and acupoint application on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 1month.The efficacy after 1month of treatment,serum levels of TGF-β1,Klotho,FGF23,renal function,immune function before treatment and after 1month of treatment,the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared be-tween the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(71.74%)after 1month of treatment(91.30%,P＜0.05).Compared with before treatment,the serum levels of TGF-β1,FGF23,urea nitrogen(BUN),blood creatinine(Scr),whole blood helper T cell 17(Th17)and 24h urinary protein in 2groups decreased after 1month of treatment,and the experimental group was lower(P＜0.05).Compared with before treatment,whole blood regulatory T cell(Treg)levels,serum levels of immunoglobulin G(IgG),immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin M(IgM)and Klotho increased in two groups after 1month of treatment,and those in the experimental group were higher(P＜0.05).During the treatment period,the incidence of adverse reactions was similar between the two groups,which did not affect the con-tinuation of treatment(P＞0.05).Conclusion The treatment of stage 3～4chronic kidney disease with lightning fire moxibustion and acupoint application had good efficacy,could improve renal function,immune function,regulate serum level of TGF-β1,Klotho,FGF23expression,reduce kidney injury,with good safety.
