Professor Chen Shaohong is the fourth national master of traditional Chinese medicine and an emergency expert of traditional Chinese medicine.He has a solid theoretical foundation of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and rich clinical experience.He has summed up his own unique theoretical system in long-term clinical and teaching practice,created a methodol-ogy of integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,and is good at treating common diseases and difficult and compli-cated diseases in internal medicine.Based on the theory of'treating diseases requires seeking the root cause',it has a significant clinical effect in the treatment of miscellaneous diseases in internal medicine.This article will introduce Professor Chen Shaohong's experience in the treatment of internal diseases based on'the root of disease'and'the foundation of acquired constitution',so as to provide new ideas for future clinical practice.
