In clinical practice,acupuncture treatment of depression is mainly based on the liver,and the principles of treat-ment is to soothe the liver and regulate qi,and regulate emotions.The acupoints are mainly selected from the Du Channel and the Liver Channel,but it's not applicable to all patients.According to the theory of"One Qi Circulation",the Qi of liver rises on the left,the Qi of lungs descends on the right,it makes the qi circulate in the body like a"endless cycle".Considered of the rela-tionship of Liver and Lung,adopting Liver-Lung simultaneous Treatment to the acupuncture treatment of depression can promote the qi circulate in human body,which may make up the deficiency of the treatment principle based on the Liver.
