Objective:To investigate the effect of Wu's long snake moxibustion on lumbar disc herniation.Methods:72patients with lumbar disc herniation from January 2022to December 2022were selected and divided into observation group and control group with 36cases in each group by random number table method. The control group was treated with diclofenac sodium combined with mecobalamine, and the observation group was treated with Wu's long snake moxibustion. Both groups completed the 8-week intervention. The ODI,JOA,VAS scores and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results:ODI and VAS were decreased in both groups after treatment, and ODI and VAS scores in ob-servation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).JOA score in both groups was increased after treatment, and the JOA score in observation group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the in-cidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Wu's long snake moxibustion can improve the dys-function of patients with lumbar disc herniation, relieve pain, promote functional recovery of patients, and does not increase the incidence of adverse reactions.
