Analysis of Th1,Th2,Th17cells and miR-155expression in peripheral blood of patients with atopic dermatitis with different TCM syndromes
Objective:To analyze the expression of peripheral blood helper T cells 1(Th1),Th2,Th17and microRNA-155(miR-155)in patients with atopic dermatitis(AD)with different TCM syndromes. Methods:AD patients admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2022were retrospectively selected as AD group(n=112).According to different TCM syndrome types, the patients were divided into spleen deficiency and dampness group(n=46),damp-heat intrinsic group(n=37)and blood deficien-cy wind-dryness group(n=29).Another 60healthy people in our hospital during the same period were selected as control group(n=60).The percentage difference of Th1,Th2and Th17cells,the expression of Th1cytokines(IFN-γ),Th2cytokines(IL-4),Th17cytokines(IL-17)and miR-155in peripheral blood of all groups were compared. Results:The levels of Th1and IFN-γ in pe-ripheral blood of AD group were lower than those of control group, and the expressions of Th2,Th17,IL-4,IL-17and miR-155were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Th1and IFN-γ levels in peripheral blood of AD patients with different TCM syndrome types(P>0.05).The expression levels of Th2,Th17,IL-4and IL-17in different TCM syndrome types were as follows, with damp-heat intrinsic group>spleen deficiency and dampness group>blood deficiency wind-dryness group(P<0.05).The expression levels of miR-155in different TCM syndrome types were as follows, with damp-heat intrinsic group>spleen deficiency and dampness group>blood deficiency wind-dryness group(P<0.05).Conclusion:There are differences in the expression of Th2,Th17cells and related cytokines and miR-155in peripheral blood of AD patients with different TCM syndrome types.Detection of their expression levels is helpful to guide the TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of AD.
