Zheng's injury-related drugs combined with Zheng's Xingyiquan toimprove functional limitation in patients with chro-nic ankle instability and its curative effect
Objective:To explore the therapeutic value of Zheng's medicine combined with Zheng's Xingyiquan in the treatment of chronic ankle instability(CAI).Methods:A total of 210CAI patients admitted to our hospital from December 2020to June 2022were included in the study,and were divided into control group and treatment group with 105cases in each group according to random number table method.The control group was treated with ultra-short wave combined with Zheng's Xingyi boxing,and the treatment group was treated with Zheng's traumatology drugs combined with Zheng's Xingyi boxing.Chinese medicine symptom score,visual analogue scale(VAS),American orthopaedic foot and ankle society(AOFAS)ankle-posterior foot score and ankle muscle strength indexes,including peak torque of dorsiflexion(DPT),peak torque of plantarflexion(PPT),total work of dorsiflexion(DTW)and total work of plantarflexion(PTW),were compared between the two groups before and after treatment to evaluate the o-verall efficacy.The adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Results:The scores of ankle pain,ecchymosis swelling and ankle functional limitation after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the scores of treatment group were lower than those of control group(P＜0.05).VAS scores at 1,3and 6months of treatment in two groups were lower than before treatment,and the treatment group was lower than the conventional group,and AOFAS scores at 1,3 and 6months of treatment in two groups were higher than before treatment,and the treatment group was higher than the conventional group(P＜0.05).DPT,PPT,DTW and PTW after treatment were higher than before treatment,and the treatment group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of treatment group(95.24％)was higher than that of control group(84.76％)(P＜0.05).The control group had no adverse reactions,while the treatment group had an adverse reaction rate of 3.81％,with no significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Zheng's injury-related drugs combined with Zheng's Xingyiquan can improve the joint function and ankle muscle strength of CAI patients,with good overall efficacy and high safety.
