Clinical observation on the treatment of acute mastitis in stagnation stage with elimination and syndrome-differentia-ted acupressure
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of elimination combined with syndrome-differentiated acupressure in the treatment of acute mastitis in stagnation stage. Methods:A total of 100patients with acute mastitis in stagnation stage who were treated at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine Affiliated Shanghai Children's Medical Center Hainan Hospital Breast Depart-ment from November 2019to November 2021were divided into a control group and a treatment group using a table of random numbers, each with 50cases.The control group was treated with syndrome-differentiated acupressure and the treatment group was treated with Gualou Niubang decoction on this basis.TCM syndrome scores, local breast condition, treatment effect, and the incidence of adverse events in both groups were observed. Results:After treatment,TCM syndrome scores in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score of pain and improvement of local breast lump and skin redness in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective treatment rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence rates of adverse events such as red rash, itching, nausea and vomiting in the two groups were close(P>0.05).Conclusion:Elimination combined with syndrome-differentiated acupressure can improve clinical symptoms, local breast lump, skin redness and swelling in patients with acute mastitis in stagnation stage, reduce pain, and have a significant therapeutic effect with high treatment safety.
