Malignant tumors of the digestive tract are common clinical diseases,and their morbidity and mortality are increasing year by year.Metastasis,as a characteristic manifestation of malignant behavior of gastrointestinal malignant tumors,is also one of the most important reasons for the failure of our clinical treatment.From ancient times to the present,generations of Chinese medicine scholars have discussed the metastasis of cancer from different perspectives.Based on the"meridian theory"of traditional Chinese medicine,this review studies and discusses the pathogenesis and transmission law of gastrointestinal malignant tumor metastasis,in or-der to provide a basis and reference for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal malignant tumors with traditional Chinese medi-cine,and provide new ideas and new methods for the rational application of acupuncture and anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine treatment.
