Effects of modified Danggui Shaodian powder combined with auricular point on gastric mucosal function,NF-κB and COX-2in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis
Objective:To study the effects of modified Danggui Shaodian powder combined with auricular point sticking on gastric mucosal function,NF-κB and COX-2in patients with chronic atrophic gastritis.Methods:Eighty-six patients with chronic atrophic gastritis admitted to the hospital from February 2022to March 2024were selected as the study objects.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into observation group(n=45)and control group(n=41).Both groups were given conventional drug treatment,while patients in the control group were given auricular point sticking treatment on this basis.Observation group was treated orally with supplemented Danggui Shaoyao powder in control group.The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.The gastric mucosal function(gastrin-17(G-17),pepsin(PG)Ⅰ,PG-Ⅱ and PG-Ⅰ/PGⅡ)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups Ⅱ)level],clinical symptom score(epigastric pain,full epigastric distention,poor bowel movements,lethargy,fatigue,shortness of breath)and nuclear faction-κB(NF-κB)and cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)levels.Results:The total clinical efficiency of the observation group was 95.56％,which was significantly higher than that of the con-trol group(71.11％).The levels of G-17,PG-Ⅰ,PG-Ⅱ and PG-Ⅰ/PG-Ⅱ in 2groups were higher than before treatment,and the observation group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05).The scores of epigastric pain,epigastric fullness,uncomfortable stool,eating less and eating less,mental fatigue,shortness of breath and lazy speech,and serum NF-κB and COX-2levels in 2groups were lower than before treatment,and the observation group was lower than control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant differ-ence in adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Modified Danggui Shaodian powder combined with auricular point sticking has a remarkable therapeutic effect on chronic atrophic gastritis patients,which can promote the recovery of gastric mu-cosa and effectively reduce the secretion of NF-κB and COX-2.
