Efficacy of Qingre Huatan Huoxue decoction on mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children and its influence on im-munity and LCR
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Qingre Huatan Huoxue decoction in the treatment of children with mycoplas-ma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP)and its influence on immunity and lymphocyte to C-reactive protein ratio(LCR).Methods:A to-tal of 198children with MPP who were treated in the hospital from January 2023to December 2023were selected and divided into com-bined group(Qingre Huatan Huoxue ecoction combined with montelukast sodium,n=99)and control group(montelukast sodium,n=99)according to the random envelope method.The efficacy,and primary and secondary symptoms scores,symptom relief time,im-mune function[C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),LCR,immunoglobulin(IgM)],pulmonary function[forced expiratory volume in 1s(FEV1),peak expiratory flow(PEF),forced expiratory volume in 1s/forced vital capacity(FEV1/FVC)]before and after treatment were compared between groups.Results:After treatment,41cases in the combined group were effective,and the total effective rate was 96.97%,which was higher than 84.85%in the control group(P＜0.05).The scores of primary symp-toms and secondary symptoms in the combined group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The relief times of symp-toms in the combined group were shorter than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Serum CRP and IL-6in the combined group after treatment were significantly lower(P＜0.05)while the LCR and IgM were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The FEV1,PEF and FEV1/FVC in the two groups were enhanced significantly after treatment,and the indicators were higher in the com-bined group than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Qingre Huatan Huoxue decoction has a significant clinical effect in the treatment of MPP.It can improve clinical symptoms such as fever and cough,enhance immune function,reduce the levels of in-flammatory factors,improve the pulmonary function and promote the rehabilitation and prognosis of disease.
